N I V E A
Hey guys, sorry for the looooooooooooooooooongg absence since the last time I posted.
Today's post is going to be a review about some of Nivea's products that I got when I attended the event. First I wanna say huge thanks to Nivea Indonesia for hosting such a fun event, as well as being so generous for giving us goodie bag full of products. Short story about the event, we were gathered in teams (my team is Chic) and did make up race in 30 mins if I'm not mistaken using all products we bought from Guardian in total amount of idr 500,000. Each person in the group did a different make up look ( dramatic queen/ prom night glam/ summer bronze babe/ music festival chic/ dark and vampy flawless). Another exciting part of the event is that he guess star is a very well known make up artist which is Bubah Alfian. He's one of the top make up artist in the nation, fyi. He was the judge in deciding the winner of each make up category. My team did not win but its okay tho because I got to meet some new friends from Medanbeautygram.

Okay enough chitchat, now let's jump onto the actual review.
Well the good news is, that now all the products that I will be reviewing can be purchased at your closest Guardian Store.
| Goodie bags |
As seen in the pictures, I got two goodie bags which are from Guardian and Nivea. The products can be seen in the pictures as well. I've tried most of the products and really enjoy using 'em. So I'll list down each of the products based on how much I like the products!
1. Nivea Micellar Water
I would rate this 5 out of 5, one of my most favorite product from Nivea. Normally I cleaned my make up using cleansing wipes, and then I followed up with this micellar water. Turns out there are still lots of makeup residue on the cotton pad which got me shook! The micellar water really cleanse everything but still hydrates your skin and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or like having a layer of products. For its price point, I really enjoy using it and I'm pretty sure I will repurchase this once I run out of it. Major looooovee for Nivea's Micellar Water, thumbs up!!!
2. Nivea Eye Makeup Remover
Another product that deserves 5 stars, this makeup remover really melts my eye makeup (even waterproof ones) easily. I just soaked cotton pad with the makeup remover then leave it on my eye for few seconds, then I just rub it off. It completely removes all my eye makeup just in first swipe, I'm so in love with this makeup remover, it doesn't sting in my eyes which are pretty sensitive, the consistency is just like regular water. Definitely see myself using this a lot in the future, and of course will repurchase this product!
3. Nivea Lip Butter
I like this lip butter, how it hydrates my lips and prep my lips before using matte liquid lipstick. Packaging wise, its pretty thin and compact so its easy to throw in your bag where ever you go. The only thing is I am not a fan of is the scent, its too sweet and overpowering especially when I apply it. But once I blot it with tissue and apply my lipstick, the scent does get away. That is the only con of this product I must say. Since I do not have dry/ problem lips, I don't think that I will use this often.
4. Nivea Makeup Starter
I like this product but won't say that I really love it. It smells nice, and the consistency is like moisturizer (lightweight), it also has that tacky finish which is good as a makeup base that will make your foundation stays longer. It has spf in it too which can protect your skin from the sun, however I still need to use other pore filling primer above it to really cover up my pores. Perhaps that is the issue, because I have a huge pores and oily skin. I think this product will suit more to those who has normal skin because it can hydrate and prep the skin. I personally prefer a blurring/ mattifying product as my make up base since my skin type is oily.
5. Nivea Body Lotion
I am not a person who likes to use lotion. To me the lotion is just like other Nivea's lotion, and I don't have much things to say about it. It does absorb quickly on the skin and smells good too. (ps: I just use it once)
6. Nivea Facial Foam
This product claims to be able to clean your make up and your pores. I do not try to clean my make up just with facial foam (because I always double cleanse and do not rely only on facial wash) so I do not know if it is true or not. But as facial cleanser it does clean my face well, it makes my skin feel squeaky clean that it kinda feels tight. I feel that it just strip the moisture from my skin, I used this several times and I notice that my skin gets oily really fast than usual. Maybe it takes off the moisture from my face that makes my skin produce more oil (just my personal opinion). This is the product that doesn't impress me at all.
